galang Meneses, Ph.D.
Oliver Galang Meneses, Ph.D., is a teacher and school administrator with a strong foundation in philosophy, education, special needs, and catechesis. He earned two bachelor’s degrees, Secondary Education (English) and Philosophy, from Don Bosco College in Canlubang, Laguna. He completed his Master’s degree in Special Education at the Philippine Normal University in Manila, and earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management (Magna Cum Laude, with Research Distinction) from La Consolacion University Philippines in Malolos, Bulacan. Dr. Oliver Meneses also completed his catechetical program sponsored by the Archdiocese of San Francisco and was awarded the title Master Catechist by the California State Catholic Bishops. Currently, he is a teacher and Campus Minister at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco.

The workshop is designed to present the following notions on the image of God, the Trinity, Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas’s concepts and descriptions about God, and why this topic matters. The workshop hopes to apply the Trinitarian Imago Dei to our human dignity, relationality, and our daily ethical actions.
d09 The Hebrew Scripture: A Vocation Story
This is a brief and a straightforward exposition on the development of the Hebrew Scripture through various vocation stories of the Old Testament figures. The workshop also hopes to help teachers and catechists see and understand the relation and the similarities between the Jewish scripture canon with the Old Testament canon.
