Faith Formation Conference 2025
Youth Day provides a space for young people to encounter and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in His church. Through inspirational talks, music, and prayer opportunities, young people can experience God and feel connected to the larger church. Here, they can feel Jesus calling them to be part of something bigger – the universal church!
The event is for youth, young adults and their families.
All the talks and experiences offered on this day are prepared with young people in mind.
Check with your principal and/or School District regarding policies for excused absences for religious retreats.
In California, a student’s attendance at a religious retreat may be counted as an excused absence for up to one school day per semester. This provision is outlined in California Education Code section 48205.
Requirements for a religious retreat excused absence
Youth Day is open to Youth, Young Adults and their families.

On Saturday, November 8, for youth leaders there is a specific leadership track YM Leadership Training for Youth and Young Adult Leaders that meets from 10:45am – 4:00pm.
If your youth are not attending the leadership track, there are a few workshops appropriate for youth to attend. Those workshops will be marked with a YM at the end of their title.
This is more than just a day out—it’s a spiritual and pastoral investment in yourself, your ministry, and your parish community
